I work for Tavis Software, a small software development company that writes business applications for small manufacturing companies.
Since 1982, I have spent an unhealthy amount of time sitting in front of a computer and will continue to do so for as many years as I can, because I like writing software that makes other peoples lives easier.

In reply to ALT.NET Montreal invitation…
Good morning Darrel,
Of course I’m interested!!!
You know, I had no idea there was an ALT.NET gathering in Montreal. What sucks is that next Wed-Thur-Friday I’m going to be out of town to teach a course @ QC City. It’ll be my last trip out-of-town, so perhaps I could join you guys at the next gathering?
By the way, where exactly does it take place?
Greetings,
Brian

Sorry to use this form but I couldn’t find your email address!
Hello Darrel,
Back in 2007 you wrote on your blog about TimmyOnTime (www.timmyontime.com) (now renamed Timmy). I would like to let you know that a new and improved version is in beta. We are now concentrating more on the collaborative aspect. You can work with your team and receive information in real-time about what everyone is doing. You can also start conversations ala twitter right from your IM by typing something like : “#todo @dan Improve the project page UI”.
We would be glad to offer to you and your team a free access so you could try the app and give us your feedback. What do you think?
Thanks!
